I started the English for Everyone ESL Podcast to provide an effective, interesting, and entertaining way for my students and other English language learners to improve their English skills. This show is for students at all levels of proficiency and from any culture to learn more about English grammar, idioms, pronunciation, and vocabulary. There are also shows about American culture, movies, and books that will improve your understanding of life in America. You can hear an introduction to the podcast here.
Each episode is in two parts. The first part is spoken at a normal speed. The second part is at a slower speed for students newer to English. Transcripts for every show are available on each episode's page. See all of the episodes listed here.
I've been teaching English as a Second Language since 2001. I've taught at a public middle school and high school, a university, a community college, an adult language school in Japan, and now private lessons for people who have moved to the U.S. for work.
I love learning about other cultures and sharing my own culture with my students. Traveling, exploring, and researching are my passions.
I truly hope this podcast will help you improve your English skills and knowledge of daily life in America.
